ABILENE, Texas McMurry University's track and field team played host to the 2016 American Southwest Conference Track and Field Championships this past weekend. Due to the fact that the War Hawks were not eligible for either team or individual awards and placements as the program transitions back to NCAA III, it was akin to a person on a diet cooking a gourmet meal for a room full of guest and then munching on celery and rice cakes, while your guests enjoyed the good stuff.
